The ultimate beachside opportunist. The Seagull is found right around Australia’s coast — and wherever hot chips are dropped. While they’re common, they’re also clever, highly adaptable, and excellent parents. Nesting on islands and rooftops, they form strong pair bonds and fiercely guard their chicks. Not endangered, but often misunderstood, these gulls are surprisingly graceful in flight and helpful scavengers in the ecosystem (if a bit shouty at times).
